Taj's lunch buffet has a variety of vegetarian dishes, and is a nice way to sample a few items in a casual atmosphere. Their dinner hours offer a dine-in option, and service is always prompt, friendly, and kind. Taj has excellent food and great customer service. Would recommend this restaurant to others looking for a quick bite (lunch) or an enjoyable dinner experience.

This restaurant has terrible customer service. Right off the bat, the hostess/waitress sat me and my wife at a table with one chair. She didn’t even have the decency to get another chair. The food was decent at best. The same hostess did not honor a $40 Groupon which we spent more than enough in food. She raised her voice at my wife in front of another family and told her she was using wrong Groupon. Which was nonsense. Please save your money and go somewhere else!!!

We came here with a Groupon and heard really bad things about the place before coming. I am glad we gave it a chance! The food was delicious and we went home with extra. The service was fast and kind. The price was fair. We will come back.

Worst service! Stale food! I complained to the owner and they became very rude!! Don’t waste your money! There are so many better places!

Service is below average. Lady (owner?) was very dry, not welcoming. The buffet was not replenish, there were no meats just the sauces for quite a while. They only stopped at our table to take the used plates away, no drink refills were offered, no response when we said thank you. Food was okay, naan was bland, but goat curry was great. The samosas and tandori chicken were good. The chicken tikka masala, which I have tried in many restaurants, tasted like pizza sauce, perhaps too much tomato sauce. If you are on the fence, Taste of India in Monroe St is your best bet, food and service are great.
