The Anchorage is a really great restaurant with great food. I loved the bread pudding!!!! However, the servers their are borderline racist and are not well trained at all. When a customer comes to the counter to pick up their food, it would be nice to be told the status of the order. This was not my experience. The server (completely) ignored me and began to talk to someone wearing a name badge with Trevor on it. I am not sure if the server (Caucasian female) thought she was going to get a larger tip from the seated (Caucasian) customers who were drinking, but I eat at this establishment very often and did not appreciate the lack of attention and disregard for customer service. Needless to say, the Anchorage will not have to worry about my patronage anymore.

We went for Easter Brunch. The service was decent. The food was not! For the amount of money charged, they could've sprung for a real ham (not the processed kind that was served). The Prime Rib was way over done. Desert table was bleak. Salad bar was decent. Won't be going back, unfortunately.

We came here for the Easter brunch. The food was ok. The problem was we had reservations for 1:15. We got the about 10 minutes early. They didn’t get us in until 1:45. We had three children under 4. They were very hungry. Then the buffet was picked over and a mess. I would not recommend it again.

If you happen to be here on a Thursday or Friday evening and sit at the bar, you'll meet Chris, this gentleman is the epitome of what a real bartender is. Attentive, freindly, had great suggestions, actually went through the customers in order on which they arrived and never lost a step, still came over to chat during the down seconds. Remembered customers who had only been here once before. This guy is a true master of the craft. Tip this guy!!!!!!

This was our first time going here. We came for the buffet for Easter. It was not a good experience. First of all, we got to restaurant around 1:00 for 1:15 reservations. They didn’t sit us until 1:45. They said they were waiting for a whole table to empty... why take reservations if you can’t honor them? The buffet wnded at 2, but they claimed they would continue putting food out and serving. That was just the time they’d stopped seating people. That was not true. The buffet was a mess! We had to ask to get clean plates and silverware! The food was very very picked over. We had to ask for them to bring more food out and when they did it would only be a little tiny bit. They ran out of crossaints, fruit, yogurt. It was like we got why was left. The food was decent that was there if you could find soemthing hot, but the servers weren’t even cleaning, fixing or bringing out more food to the buffet. When you asked for something it would take 5-10 minutes to get it. They should have just told us they couldn’t serve us. We spent over $240 and it was not worth it at all. I will never go back and I would not recommend it to any one.
