Very well done! The food was very well presidented and taste was a 10! The staff was very nice and took excellent care of us. The chef stopped by to check on us and was professional and a great guy named Brody.

Fantastic food!! It was super busy, but the servers were great, friendly and totally on point. We were at a really small table, but we saw all the food coming up and the servers staging meals. It was a great experience! The owner is (Mike) is a really nice hands on guy.. Definitely going back and recommend going to anyone looking for a great meal!!

Very average meal at high prices. I was at Poplar for my first time on valentines day 2018. We arrived at 7:30 and where quickly seated. From looking at the menu i expected to get high quality and the best in West Bend. With a small menu and high prices, they must work on these to make them perfect meals. How wrong was I!? I had the Fillet Mignon with mashed potatoes, girlfriend had the schnitzel. The steak was extremely average, Ive made better at home. The schnitzel had a terrible terrible taste! An over cooked pork chop covered in a sweet brown sauce that did not compliment it well at all!! Schnitzel is a favorite dish of mine usually but Poplar ruined it. Worst yet were the potatoes! Good potatoes are creamy and full of flavor, Poplar's mashed taters tasted like they came from a box. A tasteless puck of white that was neither creamy or flavorful, worst I have ever eaten. Drinks were good. We were seated downstairs next to the door which has a boring ambiance and got cold often. Our server was fine, but that's it. Kind of got a weird vibe from her though.... My experience has led me to say that I will not be going back to Poplar Inn. Food is better at a chain restaurant for 1/3 of the price.

The Poplar Inn is a Diamond.... A Gold Strike.... A Five Star establishment. I've been there over a dozen times in the last 2 years and they have exceeded my expectations every time. This is my go to restaurant for special occasions or just a great dinner. The service is by far the best in South eastern Wisconsin. I will put their food up against ANY restaurant in the Milwaukee area. Steaks seem to be their forte, but their seafood is also incredible. Save room for desert.... It's made in house and will definitely top off your dinner. The atmosphere is warm and relaxing. We will continue to take friends and family to this amazing restaurant. Thank you for your hard work and your commitment to make your customers satisfied.

First time here and very enjoyable, service was very good, food was excellent, I was with a very special date and while the room was full, it was very easy for the two of us to hear each other. It was very relaxing, comfortable and definitely a place we will go back to.
