I have mixed feelings about my first visit to the Ground Round. I was with a large group in the bar area. The bartender was very rude. Granted, he was alone at first, but they had plenty of notice that we would be coming and could have planned for it. The second bartender that came to help later was much better. We later ordered food and the waitress, Sarah, was very patient. She really did a nice job. The food was good and you got a nice serving for the price paid. I am not in the area often, but I would consider stopping again. I would probably just avoid the bar if I saw the same bartender working.

This place has odd memories for me. It's where we met up after the end of a longtime employer went away. It's also where I met someone very special who ended up saving my life. Also good prices on drinks and the food is very tasty.

Cheyenne our server was very helpful. Our son was not having it and she offered him crayons and paper to keep him busy. She even talked to him for a bit. We were able to eat in peace. Very good food also.

Food was horrible. My husband ordered the ground rounder, well done. The food came and the bun was literally a hockey puck and the burger was burned. To their credit, they did take the burger off the bill, but they said the burger was supposed to be that way. We paid a 16.00 bill with a 25.00 gift certificate. They refused to give any cash or credit back on the certificate. What are the chances we'll go here again? Zero percent.

First our table ordered a lemonade, water, soda, and coffee. The soda and water came, we had to wait for the coffee and lemonade. When the coffee finally came I took a sip and found dried food on my cup. Had a dirty fork, gross. There wasn’t more than 15 people in dining room. We had over cooked burgers that were ok, nothing spectacular. I would have enjoyed a second cup of coffee. But waitress wouldn’t come and check on us. The table behind us didn’t even get their appetizers.I won’t return nor will I recommend.
