Stopped in for fish fry on Friday night and everything was top-notch, the food AND service! I ordered the perch plate and my guest ordered the walleye plate. This was the first time ever I enjoyed cole slaw in an eatery. Ate every bit! I received 3 whole (double) perch fillets with my order for $14.50 and that was just a single order, plus soft, fresh, buttered marble rye and a load of battered fries to boot! It comes with tarter, raw onion, if desired and extra tarter is just 25¢ each. The walleye was just as splendid for the same price! Oh and did I mention the taste, freshness and tenderness of the fish? Nothing like I have EVER been served before, just beyond compare! We will be bringing out of town guests here, most certainly!

Farr's Grove has been the ONLY place in town that I knew I would like their fish! Today is a sad day. I am saddened by all of the small businesses closing, but this takes the cake! Farr's Grove will be sadly missed by thousands! My last meal there was awesome as usual! 😢

This place is a must if you want a terrific fish fry and possibly some drinks to go along with it. The portions of the fish are perfect with just the single portion and way more than enough with the double order, you will most likely be brining some of the double order with you home. Plus the drinks are probley the best price you can find. A definite must before this place closes in May. Hopefully someone buys it and keeps it going!
