At the risk of sounding like an iconoclast, I cannot recommend this restaurant. This is the restaurant that Manitowocans like to go to on weekend evenings when they wish to play dress up, and befitting this tradition the establishment represents a kind of gilded age. Black and white pictures on the wall and wine-themed decor, but go to the bar for a few "fine cocktails" (don't worry, unless you specify your desired liquor, they will of course include the cheapest possible liquor) and you might notice that several of the beverage names are hilariously misspelled. There is little elbow room in the establishment, doubtless due to its fantastic reputation in the community. Comparatively, though most might tell you the prices are a bit expensive (given the merely average quality of the food), I would probably be willing to pay more if the service wasn't so poor on account of the long wait times and understaffing. Don't get me wrong, the servers are very nice, when you get a chance to actually speak to them. I guess my point is... Why go here? With the other options available in town? Is it the radio ad that convinced you? I personally can't justify it.

Very nice environment. Enjoyed the food. Bit of a wait. Otherwise great.

Good food, wine selection was fine (though a few of the wine glasses were cracked). Had the filet, which was great. The bacon wrapped shrimp was ok...the bacon was a little dry.
