This comment applies to recent catered/large order experience. The pizzas (8) were average. However the salad that accompanied the pizzas had small black bugs in it. The salad cost is way too high and the quality has gone way down. You can do better Louise's. The cooking/packing staff needs to care what is going out the door.

My wife and I have been coming here on and off for 20 years and the quality has not changed a bit. Food and service is excellent! However, come early as it gets noisy once it begins to fill up

Great experience every time. Julie D was a great server! Food came quick bread and waters were always full. The Papprdelle is on point time after time never a bad dish or experience at Louiseā€™s.

Been here many times for lunch and dinner. Always very good food and service. Large menu. You'll love it here!

A great Italian-inspired spot in close proximity to many of the East Town Milwaukee destinations. Just about any type of pasta you can imagine (gnocchi, ravioli with many different cheese/veggie/meat fillings, and your more traditional noodle shapes) with well-paired and unique sauces. Calzones are also very good, including a "make your own" variety, and are a huge portion. The regular pizza, while good, is nothing particularly special. The waitstaff here are consistently competent, polite, and attentive - Probably the most consistently good service of any restaurant I have found at this price point in the Milwaukee area. Ambiance is lovely, a modern and peaceful feel among the bustle of the city outside. Full-service bar, good beer selection. Wine selection is OK, perhaps not as much selection as other Italian restaurants. If you come looking for your traditional pizza or generic marinara sauce pasta, you'll probably find it unremarkable and somewhat expensive. But if you come with an open mind for Italian-inspired modern fare, you won't be disappointed.
