Delta Restaurant is a nice place to eat at. Nice and clean and waitress staff is very nice. Never had a bad meal there. The owner well even come and talk to you and pour coffee.

This place has mediocre service (alternating pushy with negligent), awful coffee (lukewarm, sour, scorched), indifferent ambience, and the waitress flicked my waffle butter off her thumbnail onto my plate. Moments after, she returned with my dad's salsa--with a buttery thumbprint on the inside cover. All that's one star stuff, maybe two if you reset the curve for "diner in Wisconsin". However, the selection was good, with some unique combinations and items, the preparation of a specialty dish was accurate, and breakfast staples even high quality restaurants get wrong (like hash browns) were truly special. It wasn't my thing, but my mother loved her sweet potato pancake. My omelet's ingredients were consistently chopped, cooked through, evenly proportioned, and plentiful--and the eggs tasted like eggs instead of flip-flops in burned butter sauce. If you go in expecting a giant brick o' food like you get in many local diners you may be disappointed, but I guarantee you this meal had exactly as many real eggs in it as theirs do. What theirs *also* contain is what should raise your suspicions. I could never rate a diner with lousy coffee above a three. Ditto a possible contamination issue like the butter and salsa nail transfer; it's just gross. And being treated like family shouldn't mean "like those cousins who get drunk, kiss you at dinner, then slap you during football". That I've given this place three stars is a testament to how good the hash browns and eggs really were, and how hard it is to find good French toast as a side.

My experience today with my family was not the best. The sever was very rude towards a, I assume, new girl. Right in front of us. I work in food myself and it was not professional at all how she was handling the situations with the new girl. We ordered our food and it was fairly quick and decent, expensive for mediocre quality, but I am finding it totally ridiculous that the kids mac n cheese is just Kraft! If I wanted to feed my kid that, I could have just stayed home for over half the price. It was $4.50 for Kraft mac n cheese and canned peaches, that's absurd. My husband wasn't even finished eating and the server gave us our check, mind you this was dinner time, we weren't even asked if we wanted anything else like dessert. She was extremely pushy. This was our first time here and our last. I can see why it was dead when we went in there.

After having a very poor experience at GR riverfront and left without being served for 50 minutes, we came here (my first time) and were immediately served. Good food, great service.

There food is good. The staff seem very helpful. Open early mornings and always are busy. Serves breakfast all day long. Easy parking.
