Menu says "home-made" what I experienced was anything but. Went out of our way to come here because an article from Steven's Point Journal claimed it had the best fish fry......After eating a salad (which the blue cheese tasted like Craft) and French onion soup (we're in Wisconsin and had no cheese on it) we were served our fish fry. Fries were for sure frozen and fish was rubbery and "unique batter" tasted like something from a box mix. No Cole slaw and tartar sauce was also not house-made. If you're looking for fast friendly service with large portions this is your place; but unfortunately we were looking for "best fish fry in Wisconsin"....p.s. I dont write reviews EVER but was beyond disappointing :(

We live in Plover and have been to Paradise before, but not for Friday fish. We were lucky that because of the annual trivia contest the place wasn't busy (60% full) because if we would have had to wait for what we experienced I would have been appalled. The french onion soup has no cheese and only tasted like oregano, the mashed potatoes are obviously instant "just-add-water" variety, and we didn't even receive the advertised bread basket. Don't expect coleslaw with your fish dinner either- they don't have any. My wife and I have 2 small children and can only get out every once and awhile- needless to say this was an hour or so of our lives that we won't get back. When I tried to give some feedback to the hostess who had to ask twice if I wanted a copy of my receipt, all I got was a dismissive "sorry" and even the smile seemed insincere. If there was an owner or manager on duty they were non-existent. Save your money for a restaurant who cares about their food and customers.

If you find yourself in Central Wisconsin, north of the Dells area -- and hungry -- seek out Paradise for great American fare with humongous portions. Warm, country-style kitschy-but-cute decor, super friendly staff, and huge menu is the real deal. We went for an extended-family breakfast, stayed for the ambiance and their provided Trivia sheet (game) for 90 mins, and weren't hungry again 'til after dark. Easy to find by car. Highly Recommended -- any season.

This is one of my top 5 restaurants ever. Everything about this place in my opinion is great. If you come to paradise grill you will never be disappointed. The food is delicious and you will never leave hungry. Spend just a few minutes with the staff and you will understand why it is called "Paradise" Grill.
