Decent menu. Price is a little high but manageable for what you get. Unfortunately for the seafood connoisseur, the fish is usually over cooked, but tasty. You can count on the Boathouse for a solid meal with good portion sizes and good wine selection which, surprisingly, is very reasonably priced. Good place for groups and celebrations.

Very nice place and friendly services. Suitable for family events. The food is tasty with good size. Would go again. Me and my wife are very happy with the visit, thanks!

We were here for a friend's birthday party. Service was good, overall a nice atmosphere, but we weren't too impressed with the food. My wife had mussels and one of them was closed, something I would expect the kitchen to pick up on. I started with the seafood chowder which was quite tasty, but the seafood pasta I had as an entree was quite bland. The mocha ice cream pie I had for dessert was freezer burnt, seemed like it had been in the freezer for a couple of years. I was expecting a lot more from The Boathouse.

I have been here many times over the years .Always a great meal. The aged tequila margarita was especially good. Combined with the snow crab meal. The service was prompt but not overbearing. The delivery timing of the food drinks and dessert were spot on.

Great service, waitress was very friendly and quick. Food was decent, but portion sizes were tiny compared to our visit to the kits location. Both times we ordered the same Steak and Crab Stuffed Prawns. At the kits location we got 8 crab stuffed prawns, at Richmond we only got 4. Our friend ordered the steak and lobster, not only was his steak overcooked, he paid $40 for two tiny lobster tails, that were no bigger than a jumbo prawn. Overall the boathouse in kits is MILES better then the Richmond Location.
