Always likes this restaurant. You can substitute beef for chicken and vice versa. Love the atmosphere. Efficiency of service depends on the server of course. I've had both good and bad, but the food never disappointed me. Vegan options available.

For a fairly hidden place attached to a hotel, Moxie's was pretty busy when we arrived. Make reservations if you don't want to wait. We were seated in their covered patio area which was pretty drafty until the servers turned on the heaters. The food was typical grill and bar food that is slightly elevated. Our party had a mix of burgers, pasta, and steaks which were all enjoyable. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a great group atmosphere.

I went here at 2pm on a Sunday to meet my son Will for lunch. This Moxies is at the bottom of a Sandman Hotel, in North Richmond, just off Bridgeport Road. There seems to be plenty of parking, and the #430 bus can drop you off very close to there, if you're on transit. We were seated right away with our choice of seats since it was pretty slow at that time. Will ordered the chicken burger (pickle on top), I ordered the beef dip. He said that his meal was very good. I thoroughly enjoyed my beef dip, the bun was great, the beef flavourful, and the dipping sauce was tastier than your average beep dip. Overall, I'd say it was the tastiest beef dip I've ever had. Additionally, the fries were very excellent, crispy, hot, and perfectly cooked. My compliments to the chef! The service was attentive but not overwhelming, and the restaurant was clean. Great experience!

Just wanted to vent about the Cob salad, it was an uncut, half head of iceberg sprinkled with feta for $20. If you're going to pay that much for a salad it should take more than one slice of the nice to prepare. The server there was excellent though.

When I was eating my salad there were some pieces of green lettuce that were brown. When my steak meal came it had seasonal vegetables with it which didn't look appetizing - they were fried to the point of being really dark & wrinkly - not appealing at all. My steak was a little too pink for my liking, but still tasted really good. The service however was wonderful! Had many servers come and ask if everything was good. Our main server felt sorry about my salad and offered to pay for a drink or dessert. We had the white chocolate brownie which was amazing as always. Despite the issue with my food it was a great experience with the staff.
