I will remember this restaurant forever, for all the bad reasons. About 2 hours before my flight to Tokyo I decided to get a burger here: It was the worst decision of my life. Got a food poisoning quite quickly. I became so pale, cold sweat, extreme stomachache... I honestly thought I was going to die in YVR. My wife wanted to call the emergency. I asked her not to do it because I was worried they wouldn't let me take my flight but it was a bad decision. We should have called for help. Terrible, terrible, terrible....

Pretty bad service. 11am on 3Jan18, there was no line up at A&W, but there was a huge line up at Tim Horton's right next door. One miserable staff working the counter and she barely broke a smile. There were others wondering if they should eat there, but many left frustrated. The lone staff wasn't helping anyone in particular, but was in absolutely no hurry to help any new customers. I stood there ignored for about 5 minutes while she moved like molasses doing nothing in particular. I eventually gave up and went over to Timmy's. I got through thr line up faster at Timmy's than the poor sap who decided to wait it out at A&W.

This location has some really great workers, at least during the day.

Fast and friendly service. Fries weren't very warm but not cold either. They included a root beer lolipop with the kid's meals but didn't have anything other than fries.
