It’s not a traditional Chinese restaurant, DO NOT get fool. It Looks like south Asian cuisine. Used lots of sweet green curry and MSG in dishes. I don’t know why people call this restaurant a Chinese traditional Chinese restaurant. The dishes tasted so so. You can cook those dishes at home even. If you don’t know any Asian cuisine and like spend money at somewhere then go ahead, try it. The price unacceptable, because the food quality, seriously.

It's in a weird complex. Service was friendly and they accommodated my grandparents and two walkers really well. Food is good, and dim sum was fantastic. Good value. Be careful where you park in the big lot. There are lots of options but some stores have their own specific stalls.

Good food for a good price. The egg tarts a super fresh. Staff is friendly/good service. Perfect for a lunch/dinner with family and friends. There is lots parking at the restaurant and easy accessible via Marine Drive. The interior is traditional and we are always surrounded by friendly elderly people. :)

The group dinner menus have excellent value! We were really impressed with the quality of the food, and the level of service. Ming, the manager, is unparalleled in his dedication to his job. We received so much attention and could not have asked for better service at a restaurant. I highly recommend any one looking for a group dinner spot to try the Flamingo!

I've been going to Flamingo for my dim sum since the 80's when they were still on Cambie street. This was the first time I tried the new location. We got there early so there was no line up, but I have to say, it's pretty small and much like their old location, the parking is pretty poor The food has always been good and I'm happy to say it hasn't changed. Prices has gone up and portions are smaller, but it's still a little cheaper than some of the dim sum places in Richmond. May 4 2019 - Decided to try this place again since we were in the neighborhood, and unfortunately it's gone downhill since the last time I was here. The food doesn't taste as fresh as it once was and portions are now even smaller. We were around 11:00am on a Sat and they weren't busy at all. Not a good sign
