App doesn’t work. Hung up on twice when ordering. 45 min on hold and was not able to place an order. Asked to speak to a manager and Erica, the manager said that my call wasn’t important, if I didn’t want to place an order they didn’t want to talk about my complaint after 45 minutes waiting on hold. Ghetto slang Hannah in customer care clearly has never graduated high school and says that 45 minutes is not a big deal and everyone else has to wait, wondered why I was complaining. Swiss Chalet is one of my favourite restaurants.This is my final attempt at trying to order from them. My last few experiences at the Surrey location has been garbage. I used to eat there every week for years! I give up.

Was just here a few days ago and had a fantastic experience. So much so that just a few days later I'm bringing my friends back again. Tonight was really good too but I have to say tonights Greeter / Hostess was one of the grumpiest hostesses I've ever experienced. Upon entering Swiss Chalet in Surrey she never said a word but just looked at us, No " welcome to Swiss Chalet " not even a hello- just a stare, so I took the initiative and said booth please. Without saying that word she walked away we assumed we follow her and took us to a booth where she slapped down to menus and walked away, no mention of a specials no smile, no greeting anything. My partner that was with me asked what I did to piss her off and we both chuckled because she seemed extremely grumpy. We chatted amongst ourselves and said that we would watch to see what she would be like with the next people and it was the exact same thing. I understand people have bad days but wow that was one unhappy lady. I have to say though the rest of the night went great and it is unbelievable how quick the food is brought out. not just tonight but last time I was here too we had hardly ordered and the hot food was being brought out! I also mention this specifically because many years ago me and some friends went and the wait for the food was just over an hour, last time I was here and tonight the food was so quick and very hot and extremely good, enough so that I definitely will be back again, Swiss Chalet fries are to die for.

I have not been there in a while but we went for Thanksgiving. Yes, I understand the staff are busy, its to be expected. However, standing in the pick-up line for take-out for 10 minutes while 3 employees come and go without any one even looking at you? That's plan rude, whatever happened to acknowledging the customer? The food tasted average but the lack of stars in for employe behavior.

As for the usual the chicken is always great. And service was fast and friendly. I had the half chicken it’s the better deal than the all white meat deal.

Terrible slow service and there wasn't even cutlery at our table? Neither did the table next to us. We both had to ask for some after our food arrived. I also had to ask if we could order drinks (like water and soda) when they came to see if we were ready to order, and numerous times we observed tables left dirty and people not being serviced. One wasn't even cleaned off until we were ready to leave and it was dirty when we arrived which doesn't look very nice when it's cluttered with trash and dirty plates. At least two people had gotten up to ask for service which is pretty sad. The two stars were for the food which was good but the waitresses didn't know what the heck was going on it seemed and the hostess served us food we never ordered, and then another server did the same thing to the table next to us. I didn't know an establishment like this would be run so terribly.
