Nice place. Warm and friendly service. Quality, and tasty food. Experience was beyond expectations. Thank you. Koss c/o Geopan Heating and Air

Favourite sushi spot! The tatami rooms are a fun experience and the food is top quality. I just wish the waitresses were a little bit more on their toes in terms of service!

I eat her regularly. No matter how many Japanese restaurants pop up around the cove, they still have the best quality sushi. Fantastic tuna, their toro is to die for, the Hawaiian roll is AMAZING. Lovely, sweet waitresses. I judge a restaurant based on their tuna, and Genji has never disappointed!

Its a bit unfair to only give this place 3 stars as I have been going there for 8 years and the service has been outstanding. I go twice a week on average with a take out order of between 15.00 - 20.00 average. The servers are delightful there and the sushi is good. Imagine my surprise when after a months absence (holidays) I came back to an increase that is over the top. My bill went from being normally 15.00 to a whopping 21.00 - quite an increase all at once. I see that the comments from the owner are that there has been no price increase for over 10 years. This is bad business practice. I would have been fine with a modest increase year after year, but to have my bill go up more than 25% overnight is a bit over the top. This to me represents costing practices that have not been regularly scrutinized and amounts to gouging. I will miss the girls and will miss my regular order but have now gone elsewhere in the area to get my sushi. By the way, competition still charges much less than your new prices.

what kind of place puts crab in chicken teriyaki rolls? has it ever occurred to them that maybe people with allergies order chicken teriyaki rolls in order to NOT order fish?
