Great home cooking at a traditional diner. Sun Valley Restaurant is a truck stop on Route 90 and it offers tasty home cooked meals from breakfast to supper. Breakfasts are plentiful and varied, with real potato hash browns wonderfully seasoned, and a choice of traditional breakfast favorites as well as a delicious hamburger steak covered in a mushroom and onion gravy. They even serve a large portion of oatmeal and toast, as well as a bottomless mug of hot coffee. Service is fast and friendly. Lunch time burgers are great along with home made fries, and suppers are mostly hot sandwiches and gravy, a choice of soup or fresh salad. Be sure to try the specials. Thursdays is pork chops, and they are grilled and delicious and juicy. Served with vegetables and two scoops of real mashed potatoes with gravy, and a side of applesauce. You won't be disappointed.

I love coming here. I started coming here 20+ yrs ago. Then l was gone from here for 5 yrs. Was the first place l came back to when l came back to the area. The food... Coffee and servers are always great. It's simply the best around. Try it. You wont regret it. It just doesn't get any better than this!!!

Perfect old fashion dinner. Home made affordable blue collar meals. 2018 this place does not change, if anything the service just gets better.

The food is amaze balls and the service is just as good. They get a little busy and the poor staff seems to run around lots but that doesn't stop them from offering excellent customer service. 12/10 would eat here again !
