Today was my first visit to Johnny's. I had heard good things and I certainly wasn't disappointed. The food was delicious and the portions are generous. I could eat it all so I'm looking forward to eating the rest at home.

Great bacon and egg AND burger joint. Something for everyone in the family. Great value. Place is a bit run down. Cash only but they have an atm. Fat boy special with fries is about 10 bucks. Greek chili for the burgers.

I went with a group of friends and the service was slow at best. Others who came in after us were served their food way before us. Our orders were all quite simple and shouldn't have taken the forty minutes it took to get our food. One guy had a sensitivity to something that came with what he ordered and requested that it not, and that request was ignored. Another guy ignored his food after a few bites and didn't seem like he was enjoying it. They also need to learn how to actually wrap a wrap, both of the wraps at our tables promptly fell apart when they were picked up. Come time to pay, when asked for takeout containers for our leftovers, it took them over five minutes to grab us those containers and used that time to chat and gossip behind the service station instead. The only good things about this place are the portion sizes and pricing. They should probably invest in at least a single debit and credit machine instead of relying on the ATM in their entrance hallway. I only found out it was cash only after I had my drink from the server. The writing stating this was only on the menu in small small print.

Mmmmmm comfort food!! This unassuming place has large portions for reasonable prices. I had the liver and onions with mashed potatoes and gravy. It didn't disappoint. Liver was super tender, onion grilled just so and the mashed potatoes and gravy were perfect! The right balance of creamy with small lumps to let you know it's made "a la homestyle". Our server was bubbly and friendly and attended to our every need. Well done Johnny's!!!!!
