I am so livid and so disgusted with the McDonald’s at 3401 Portage Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3K 0W9 that I will never be returning, and will be making sure everyone knows about this incident. While waiting in line for a take-out order, after an aleady poor dine in experience in the play area (dirty, no wiped down tables) one of the employees kept laying her head down on the counter, spreading her hair out where the food is served, waiting for her ice frappe to be made - rolling her eyes and sighing because she had to wait. After her doing it three times I said to her “can you please not put your head and your hair on the counter where my food is going to be served?” I was greeted With a big sigh huge, and eye roll and an ‘oh my God. Really?’ This IS an establishment that serves “food” correct? She then proceeded to ask another girl behind the counter to "please wipe down the counter to get her “Ebola” germs off of it'. I stepped in and said I wanted to speak to a manager about her (young girl with long curly hair dyed a maroon colour) when one of her coworkers jumped in and was asking what the problem was. While I was trying to speak to ‘said management’ her little boyfriend that was there waiting with her was chiming in, yelling at me in the background. I couldn’t get a word in edgewise without him calling me a liar and say I was overreacting. When I raised my voice to be heard over this loud mouthed kid I was asked to leave AFTER being asked why the hair on the counter mattered as food was given in bags or on trays anyway?!? The girl wasn’t reprimanded for her horrible attitude, the counter was never wiped down and I will NOT be returning. The only reason I even went to this place with so that my niece could play while my daughter was at gymnastics. I have NEVER been so embarrassed and disrespected in a restaurant in my life. To have these people represent your company is a VERY sad state of affairs. For the record - this will be reported to the Health Inspectors - and has been posted on local social media accounts. I was supremely disappointed to see DOZENS of comments echoing mine about extremely poor customer treatment, uncleanliness and how this is literally the WORST McDonalds location in Winnipeg.

The drive thru was closed so I went into the lobby where I waited 11 minutes for a big Mac meal and the fries were so cold it was as if they arrived via the Arctic Circle. I won't return.

Took 20 mins to get an empty cup for pop and a coffee (other people who ordered after me were getting their orders and I even heard a couple people ask about the coffee order and just ignore it lol). Also their bathroom stall doesnt have a latch to keep the door closed... Seriously? I dunno what's going on with this place, the order thing I could understand but fix your bathroom appliances guys.

My little one ordered a Snoopy toy for his happy meal and they gave him a Valentine's day book in April(!) and said we can exchange it in three days. He got upset and was about to cry. Shame!

Everytime we come through the drove through the wait is over 10 minutes and we are always asked to pull up the the stall a d wait for our food to be run out. This evening we waited for almost 20 minutes and they completely messed up the order. This location is terrible and I would strongly advise against coming here.
