The Matador is nestled in the corner of second floor Portage Place mall near the big clock. If you are looking for an option on where to eat other than the regular food court, this is a worthy consideration. You'll likely remember your visit here as positive because of the super cheery and inviting staff. They offer sit down dining an even a take out window. I usually have the chicken strips with fries but their salads and soups are good as well. While the food was tasty and moderately portioned, I found the prices higher than what I would have expected for a meal of that nature.

I normally order the Matador salad which I love. Today I ordered a clubhouse sandwich, which was the most disappointing clubhouse sandwich I've had in Winnipeg. Averaging out my stars to give this a 3 star rating.

Some of the best chicken fingers I've ever had! I'd recommend the coconut chicken fingers. Freshly fried in-house.
