I've been to this establishment and I was greeted in the warmest manner. I ended up staying there for 45mins. I even had them did the catering for my son's christening. Normally a torn currency is not accepted at most establishments. Sometimes you enter a bank with it they require id and make sure you have an account with them. There are many banks close to this establishment why did you not go there before and exchange your currency for one that's not torn? #Wakanda nor being black has nothing to do with this it's just plain principle. Seems like you have issues with your own race..

Got rid of small size. Choices limited now. Server not very welcoming. Sensed a bit of attitude.

I went to purchase lunch for worker today, tender a cash payment to the young lady. She took one of the bill and stated she can't accept it as it's ripped. I didn't notice it until she pointed it out to me. I had just received it last night from the circle K gas station on Kennedy. I have never refuse payment from a customer because it's ripped because I'm aware the bank will take it from me. This disgusting mannerisms we have as black woman needs to be addressed. After I told her that's all I have her response was well I can't accept it you can use debt. "The word all I have " didn't mean anything to her and I'm just thinking what if I was actually consuming this food and this was really all i had to my name she would refuse me food and let me not have anything to eat. Because of her attitude I refuse to use my debit or credit card as I was not going to spend my Money in this shop. I took my money and went to another shop in that same plaze the cashier took that same money and put in her till with out question. Us as black people fail to see why we can't get anywhere as a people, we lack unity love compassion empathy. The word customer service means nothing in Caribbean establishment's. Sadly our qeens are so hostile, towards each other, we have become so weak and easily manipulate that we can't see past systematic manipulation. We continue to tear each otherdown with all this negative emotions. I know her parents are doing what they can to operate business and she chose to take money from them due to poor judgements. Sadly I will not step foot in this shop again. I know people will say it's there shop and not look at the big picture that is so problematic. We need to do better, invest in your business by having the right tools need of you feel counterfeit will be an issue. Learn more about customer service etc it's 2018 we need to do better as a people. We have so much challenges just being black as it is. Fighting with each other is the last thing we need. #Wakanda

Such a pleasure dealing with the staff there. They are ALWAYS warm and welcoming. Their red pea soup is amazing!

Very tasty like all authentic Caribbean cuisine-my boyfriend can't eat spicy food and their jerk isn't spicy but is very flavorful which is perfect. I love their oxtail with red bean rice but they don't carry the extra hungry size in it...sigh unfortunate! But nevertheless delicious Jamaican food. Tried the chicken soup recently and it was nostalgic...A great reminder of home sweet home.
