My sister and I went here for my birthday and ordered 5 different vegan plates of food and I have to say that every single dish was DELICIOUS! My favourite was the pupusas but everything tasted awesome. Highly recommend this gem! For the carnivores, vegetarians, and vegan crowds!

Amazing food! Very unique. The place is open and airy, feels very comfortable. It takes some time to get your food so don’t go too hungry. The combination platter is what we usually go for. One of the hidden gems of the KW are for sure.

We've visited a number of times, food always good. Large menu includes Salvadoran and Mexican dishes - meat, chicken, shrimp, vegetarian. Homemade tacos and chips. They spice to request with mild or hotter garnishes, so no fears there. Offer a couple of good hard to find Mexican beers. Very casual, family run, friendly service. Easy to miss as it's upstairs above another restaurant on King Street.

I ordered the chicken, steak and shrimp plate and really enjoyed the char grilled flavour of the meats. I'd highlighted recommend the steak especially! The rice and beans were filling and went perfectly with the hot sauce placed on the tables. We also ordered the nachos which were probably the best nachos I've ever had, they're generous with the chicken and beef, AND it came with its own guacamole - no need to order it as an add on. Service was relaxed and courteous, though I wouldn't recommend going here for a quick lunch break though because it's not a quick service restaurant. Walking into the restaurant felt like walking into your abuela's home, it was cozy and a down to earth with spacious tables. I recommend this gem, it's probably one of the few places in KW that does Central American food right.

Love the food, very relaxed environment, and friendly staff. Dishes take awhile to come but worth the wait. Between the size of the portions, fresh taste, and the prices I am always happy to eat here
