Pump house Grille was pretty good. i loved their Nachos. its a HUGE portion! which is what gets me going there all the time! atmosphere is really great in the summer, they have a cute patio outside. but most of all what i adore is the park across the street, you can walk down the walk way and watch the lake all night. it's very romantic.

I came to this restaurant for the first time with my husband and 2 children for a Mother's Day dinner. Firstly we waited a bit to even see a hostess. Finally when she greeted us I asked to sit somewhere that our stroller could be beside us as our son is 6 months but doesn't sit comfortably as yet in a restaurant style high chair. She said the table they usually use for that was just given to someone else so we had to leave the stroller out of our sight at the other end of the restaurant and then waited a bit for someone to even bring a high chair. When the high chair came it was absolutely filthy...caked on food and crumbs all over it so I had to cover it in blankets and wipe it down for him to even use it. When we ordered drinks I asked our server if I could get a straw...Its just a personal preference that I like to use straws out of restaurant glasses. I didn't even state that, I just kindly asked for one and her response was in a very condescending tone "well you know we're just trying to be environmently aware so we don't use those..." she then came back and forth from our area twice before bringing the straws. I guess her personal way of letting us wait to enjoy our drinks? She was very rude and not at all enthusiastic about her job. Her attitude was disgusting, even my husband pointed out "she must hate her job." As for the food---the appetizer we wanted was sold out. My chicken sandwich was incredibly bland. My husband's burger was so dry and overcooked that a large chunk of it literally just fell off, almost like it cracked off. My son had a pasta with a tomato sauce which the server never even asked if he wanted some grated cheese for it. Food was not the greatest but the service was TERRIBLE. Definitely didn't make for a nice Mother's Day dinner. I'm not sure why our server was the way she was...regardless she should work somewhere else if she can't do her job properly.

I’ve often dined out in Port Credit but never at the Pump House, but I’m glad I did. Place is lively and the food is excellent. I had the blackened chicken fettuccine, while my date had the beef dip. Service was fast and solicitous. Definitely would come back with a group of friends.

Service was okay, hostess and server were friendly. Unfortunately the food was disappointing. The Caesar salads were drowning in dressing, we couldn't even eat half. The salmon was good, flaky and moist, (got the sauce on the side). The main came with a generous portion of veggies. Do not order the baked potato! The one I got for a side came out luke warm and tasted old and stale. Mentioned it to the server and just got a "Sorry about that" no offer to replace or get me something else despite the fact I had taken all of two bites.
