My wife and I visited for our anniversary lunch. The wait staff were extremely friendly and polite.
We got complimentary bread to start, which was buttered and a little garlicky.
I ordered the mixed grill, and she got the 3 course special. My chicken was almost all breast meat and had a fantastic infusion of herbs and spices. The 4 oz steak was tender, delicious and perfectly cooked medium well. The crab cake was perhaps the best I've ever had, very tasty and practically no filler, unlike what you'd find at most other places. Not pictured is the sweet potato casserole that I ordered as a side; I found it too sweet, and regarded it as a dessert more than a savoury item.
Since my wife is on a ketogenic diet, I got her banana cheesecake. It's an interesting twist on cheesecake, which I think I might not have enjoyed as much as I could have, since I was so stuffed by this time. I finished the bread pudding (which had whiskey) just prior, and it was pretty good with the custard.
Good desserts overall, but this place really shines for its entrees.
