I would just like to say I am a fan of this company, how they keep it a family business and I usually enjoy the food very much. The Dixie and Queensway locations are awesome. Whenever I get a sandwich at either one of the two the meat is hanging over the bun. Unfortunately the Winston Churchill location is not on the same page. You get one piece of meat cut in half and it barely covers the bun. I’ve given them several chances to change my view but unfortunately I’ve been disappointed every time. I must say this location is hurting the family name.

Let's just say that they do not serve their sandwiches like they are supposed to be serving them. Way less meat and not fresh at all. Old bread and veal. I dunno what it is about this location because almost every other location is great. I have been coming to California Sandwiches since i was a kid down at the original one in Toronto. This location is killing their name.

This place, like all other Cali Sandwich locations is AWESOME! Prices are cheap (&8.50) but you have to pay for your toppings ($.50 - $1.00) which makes your sandwich more expensive than a combo from any other burger place in the country. You don't get a side with it so you only leave with a burger and the feeling that you will still be hungry. BUT, then you eat the sandwich and are thankful that there was no side because its the best sandwich you've had in some time and sometimes just finishing it is enough of a challenge. Staff here are great, they worked even when there was a power grid failure. They used their gas stove and cell phone lights to keep the business going and based on how many people are always there, they plow through the lines pretty fast.
