Love this place for breakfast. The server Van... She remembers your order and you name and has coffee waiting at a table for me as soon as she seems me pull up in parking lot or front door. Amazing. She know my regular order and she just brings it to me. Definitely go there for breakfast and ask to sit at Vans table.

YOU’LL FEEL LIKE YOU’RE IN YOUR FAMILY KITCHEN FROM CHILDHOOD We’ve made it a family tradition to have brunch here. The food is very good whether it’s breakfast food, lunch or dinner. If you’d like to feel like you’re in your family kitchen from childhood, this is the place: delicious home-style favourites like smoked meat on rye, fish and chips, spaghetti with homemade meat sauce, meatloaf and more. Children will enjoy the food, and mom and dad will enjoy getting a break, knowing the food is homemade.

We go here for brunch on Sundays. The service is always good. Prices are reasonable. Servers are friendly. Watch your tomatoes though - twice I tasted mold on mine when I substituted my toaat for them.

If you want real homemade cooking in Ottawa just like your mom or grandma made it, this is the place to go. Large portions at a small/reasonable price. The place is a little dated and many seniors are around but it's part of the charm.

Wonderful place to go. Epic food and great environment. Prices are fantastic. Lots of space and all food is priced well. Will be missed when they go after the subways comes to destroy it.
