Better than I had expected. A must try for an evening out at the movies. Fair attempt of at the atmosphere of a German beer hall. The drink menu was amazing. Almost a small novella. They definitely have a large variety of beer on tap or in bottle. If you don’t find what you’re looking for, you’re likely to find something just as good. The food as excellent. The only complaint was the kettle chips being a little too salty. Otherwise, mouth watering. I do have to admit, it wasn’t that authentic an experience when nachos and poutine are on the menu - but, hey, it’s not an actual beer hall and they do try to cater to everyone. The staff are polite and helpful. My brother-in-law accidentally split his beer, losing most of it. However, the staff replaced what he lost and then some with a free refill of his beverage. They were also quick to clean up the spill.

Went here multiple time with coworkers for lunch. Great beer selection, European (a bit more geared towards German brews) and local. Probably over 20 on tap. Their food specialty is sausage. Several types to choose from, all served with potatoes and sauerkraut. There are also burgers and fish & chips if sausage is not your thing. One star deducted from a perfect 5 because of the expensive prices.

Had an excellent lager/ale that the staff couldn't stop bragging about! Was delicious. The staff seemed very knowledgeable about their beer bible (200+)which I find very important. The lamb chop and risotto plate I had was delicious! The taster plates seem a bit pricey but still tasty. Haven't tried the kielbasa or the sausages but they sounded awesome. Would definitely go back.

Sausages are really amazing here, especially the wild game variety. Good selection of beers on tap and in bottles. A lot of beers I have not heard of but will definitely try. My only complaint is that the lunch service needs to be faster, it’s just too slow. If your not in a hurry, it’s a good place to visit.

I always have a great time here trying different beers from all over. The menu is a little small but they do everything very well here. Stop in and grab an eccentric bier and one of their Bavarian pretzels with cheese and thyme and enjoy the atmosphere of the Central Beirhaus
