The only redeeming quality is that they bring the sushi out extremely quickly compared to other sushi places in Ottawa. Also the sushi is delicious. I found it weird how the staff make sure that one half of the restaurant is completely packed full of people while no one is seated in the other half. I feel this may come down to laziness in bringing the food to people. The staff are rude and dismissive. They will not make eye contact with you or smile, and on several occasions it felt very pushy when they came to our table asking us if we were finished and wanted to pay. If you say thank you to them when they bring you your sushi they do not say a word and simply walk away. I found this as a reoccurring issue with sushi places where the waiting staff speak little to no English and have no customer service skills. A goal that I want to accomplish is to find a sushi shop in Ottawa with good sushi AND good customer service. My search continues.

Had been there several times. This place is average thus the 3 Stars. Gotta say that the food selection is great and the price is okay. The service is average and there are some rude staff. The owner there is kind of retarded... Every time I walk in here, I don’t have much expectations cause all I know is that it’ll just be another dinner. Average. Don’t expect to be impressed by this place. But as I said, it’s not too bad

The staff should probably not talk bad about their customers in Chinese...when the customer understands Chinese...Rookie move. One server was arguing with another server in front of us to charge us for rice. But if the length of the rice ball in a sushi is longer than the fish itself...I am going to discard half of the rice. I didn't go to a sushi restaurant to eat rice. Anyways, I chose not to leave a tip for all of the attitude received today and the server who argued to charge me for the rice started giving attitude and went to her coworkers to talk about us...obviously not slickly once again. Thanks for the service Ten Sushi definitely will not be back.

The food was fresh, the service was fast and the price is good for an all-you-can-eat. Just a heads up to those who are new, you need to eat everything on your plate because they will charge you for what you have not eaten. The restaurant gets packed real fast, and lures in a lot of college and university students, there is a very youthful vibe to the place.

Great place for an Asian cuisine meal. Although the restaurant's name says Japanese, they actually do a little bit of everything. If it's your first time there, they explain you how to order and everything. They do offer an all you can eat buffet, however some items may cost a bit extra, so be careful when you order. The price for the buffet is reasonable, maybe a little expensive for some, and the service is quick and efficient, however not very friendly. Good quality is what you would expect from a buffet, not excellent, but also not bad.
