I read the reviews about great service and food online before attending and was stoked for a good experience this evening. Instead, upon entering right off the bat, the guy behind the bar, who was the only staff member visible, was rude and unfriendly. He barked over to us to pick a chair, and when he eventually made his way over to where we were sitting, just tossed the menus at us without uttering a single word. What a welcome!! He seemed capable of engaging in conversation with the patrons sitting in the bar; not so much for the patrons sitting in the restaurant. The silent menu toss was enough for me; we left the restaurant at that point and encourage you to look elsewhere if you dare to expect even a bit of friendliness and courtesy on a night out.

Food is okay. Some offerings quite rich. Others, like their cheese fondue had too much alchohol in it and was cool - needed to be much warmer. Friendly service. Apple dessert lovely. Seemed more suited to having a drink and nibble in the bar area than dinner in the dining area.

Had brunch here late Saturday afternoon and service was great, servers were personable and attentive. Food was great, we really enjoyed eating here. Prices are standard. Will definitely come again if in the area.

There were eight in our party and six of us were very happy with our meals. One in our group is allergic to cheese, and wasn't aware her dish had cheese sauce over her vegetables. A second person in our party found the roast duck too tough. In both cases the waiter graciously replated or replaced the dish to our satisfaction. The presentation of all dishes was above par and a price range of $28 to $33 for main courses was reasonable.

Great food, nice atmosphere. Owner was super nice and was able to accommodate more people to join the party
