I’ve had great experiences with this establishment- good food at decent prices. I personally prefer getting the food to-go rather than sitting in, but am told there’s less options that way! I usually get the chilli chicken or the spicy garlic chicken.

Quick take-out service and tasty dinner-for-two. Restaurant has plenty of seating with televisions at all angles for all tables, so it's great for a game night.

If a restaurant screws up once or twice I'm okay with it because I understand things happened. Today however my glass is finally full. I have had bad food twice from the Kennedy and Eglinton location where I stopped going for a while. However today I placed a large order for pick up. Also when I placed the order the guy asked if I wanted Cantonese chow mein. I said no and had him repeat the order and he didn't mention it. However the price seemed high. Anyways I know prices went up recently across Canada so I didn't ask and he also repeated the order. When I came home everything was there but he charged me and included a Cantonese chow mein (we don't eat beef). Also the manchurian chicken tasted like a box of salt. We had to throw out two dishes. Basically he screwed up my families evening. With all the Hakka restaurants in the area l will have to go else where. Sorry Hakka no 1 but you've lost my families business.

Hmmmmm..........they say "#1", but this restaurant should be on the low end of anyones hakka restaurant list. Hot and sour soup way too sweet, and no other herbs or spices used. Chilli calamari so so. Too much transference of flavors from previously cooked dishes. Their vegetarian noodles very greasy, and vegetables were not fresh. I do not know how they got 4-5 star ratings unless those reviewers are very very heavy smokers of cigerettes and various street drugs. NOTE: I had previously recommended Lotus Garden at Warden and Danforth Ave. They have (since beginning May 2018) changed hands to a new owner. Its okay, but definitely not the same as the previous owner. So I withdraw my recommendation of Lotus Garden until we visit them at least another 2 times......billp

Fantastic food and very generous portions! Their Manchurian chicken is one of the best in town.
