SAMMY'S, has, undergone a change of ownership and management this summer/2017... Raymond is owner now. However, he was a cook here before, and Chris still is! So the menu remains the same, and you can still expect the same friendly service and good home- cooked food, in good portions, and reasonably-priced! ~js P.S. Four suggestions, nonetheless... They need to upgrade the flavour of some of the pastas: The Alfredo was bland, not enough sauce and the pasta mushy! Ask before pouring gravy over everything, esp. your great prime beef! The pancakes are much too pale... And you gotta increase your dessert menu! The apple pie is great and the cheesecake, but, almost never available on weekends! Freeze some, already... Problem solved! And how about some baklava??

I think this restaurant lives up to its name as a family restaurant. It is clean, the service is good, the food is quite tasty and the price is right. All you ever want in a nice place to eat out.

Good homemade food, great service, nice family atmosphere and a reasonably priced menu makes this place a new neighbourhood favourite for me

Loved it! Much better than the original sunset grill restaurant, and that's saying a lot! Reasonable prices, friendly atmosphere. Definitely going again to try more.

I love this restaurant. Great food. Reasonable prices. Lots of parking. Great waitresses. My only complaint is the bathroom is downstairs.
