Okay, the atmosphere and location aren't great (it's located on the second floor of a seniors building) but given the affordable prices and authentic home-made style cooking, it's really a hidden gem. Avoid the seniors rush-hour (lunchtime 11:30am to 12:30pm and 4:30 to 5:30pm) or you'll be waiting a long time for service. Their tofu salad is AMAZING - very fresh and delicious and try the nabeyaki udon soup - also very delicious and it tastes like mom made it (your Japanese mom!).

One of my favorite authentic Japanese diner in the beautiful Japanese retirement home. Great service, great food with reasonable price. You can also watch TV Japan while you are waiting.
