A boutique restaurant adorned with simple furnishings, this quaint place caters mainly to a breakfast and lunch crowd. It's relatively small size, coupled with its location directly across from a large downtown college, means there is a queue for seating at times. The menu has a distinctly Belgian influence, with an interesting selection of meal options. Some items, including Belgian waffles and French toast, are served with fresh fruit. The portions are not not overly large as presented, though often just right for an enjoyable meal. Expect pleasant, attentive service.

The restaurant is in an old building and has a rustic charm. There's street parking and there's a street car on King St that will drop you off nearby. The door leads directly to the street and is accessible. The bathroom, however, is not accessible and is down a steep flight of stairs. The seating seems just as old as the building so I prefer the booth to a chair. The service is great. I love the fries here by themselves or in the poutine. The, what feels like, straight from Belgium Waffles and the best maple syrup in the world is amazing. Everything else on the menu is okay. It's worth it for the first two items I listed. Just keep in mind that they do change the menu around daily ,so the waffles are the only permanent staple.

worth the wait place is tiny so it gets packed up... although wife wasn't impressed with stained glasses and plates ... we were a group of 6 so we tried a lot of things.. service is fast and food is delicious!

I'm always on a lookout for good brunch spots and unfortunately this place doesn't make a cut to my favourites list. The wait was too long and after tasting the food I thought it was not worth standing in the long line. I found the brunch items to be more on a basic side, so if you're looking for something experimental or new, this is not a spot for it. Although I liked the waffles for the desert, overall I would not recommend this place to my friends.

Great breakfast. Waffles and Benedict were amazing. There was a line up but it moved quickly. Server was prompt, got our orders right but could have been friendlier.
