Great food! Had calamari and the sliders(juicy patty). Congambare for our pasta. Everything was good! Server was very nice and accommodating as well. Will be back for other items.

Wonderful little restaurant, that I wish I knew about earlier! Our waitress was amazing, and very fast. We ordered our drinks and before I decided what food to order, the drinks were on the table. Food was really, really good! Like the drinks it came to the table very fast, and it was made fresh, not waiting to be served. Cozy atmosphere, and nice setting. Good for a date night, or a good food night, either way it is definitely a place I will be returning to in the near future. Great job to all at Valens!

Always enjoyable food at good prices. My wife and I have never been disappointed.

Pretty good. Better deal to go for the fixed price course meal.

Valens is deceptively good, they could update the decor (if they did I'd bump this to 5 stars) but I don't let that stop me from eating here because the food is extremely good. I love their prix fixe menu, lots of value in the options (the lunch menu is beyond what you would expect for the price.) I particularly love the mussels, the broth/sauce is so tasty. I repeatedly get the steak or fish because they are cooked perfectly (and they meet my dietary requirements) The sauces and sides are generous and delicious. Be sure to order the creme brûlée, it is the largest portion you are likely to have anywhere. They also have a decent wine selection...good bang for your buck.
