Place is always packed and busy. But that’s because it’s good and in demand. Personally my advice is it’s time to upgrade to a bigger place. Other than that, staff is great, courteous and kind. The food was amazing and you do get nice portions as well. The place is cozy and has a nice authentic home feel to it. Enjoyed my time here fully.

My daughter had been dying to bring me to Maha's and so we went while I was visiting this past Sunday. I was informed of the line-up and wait but I was definitely not prepared for what happened. We lined up for two hours (they were taking "preferred" customers and serving them before us). We figured that once we got in and were sitting down that the worst was over--not true! Our order was taken right away, but we ended up waiting for an hour and twenty minutes for our two meals!! We had to beg for two glasses just to pour our water that was sitting on the table. Meanwhile, I'm looking at a large group that was well behind us in line eating their food. As I had a train to catch, the food had to be transferred into "to go" containers as we ran out the door. NO food is worth waiting three and a half hours for; I don't care how good it is. After hearing so many good things about this restaurant I'm afraid that I will never return. A huge disappointment and a waste of an afternoon!!

One of my favorite restaurant in Toronto. Since this restaurant is pretty popular, there was line up when we went there. But it didn’t take that long to have our seats. Cozy and comfortable place. Staffs were friendly. I will come back to try another one soon!

Went at 11am on a Saturday and the line up was nuts! Literally an hour wait and it was raining. BUT, the food was amazing! I had the Cairo Classic and also their lentil soup. Simply delectable! And the staff are extremely welcoming and so attentive. All this to say, the wait was worth it and I'm definitely returning to try their other goodies :)

The food here is amazing, took me right back to Egypt. The bread they make I house is so good and authentic. We tried several items on the menu and they exceeded our expectations. The place is small so seating is tight. But we were still able to eat there with a party of 6 adults and 2 kids. Overall great please, service was fast and friendly. I can't wait to go back.
