After a few weeks now, with the new management and staffs. Things are getting better now! Food quality maintain the same. Service needs to improve.

Been here twice. Food itself taste great, but slow ish service. Recommended if you want tasty food, and have some time.

The best Japanese food in the area! The owner and staff do a great job serving as close to genuine Japanese food as possible, and of giving the place a good Izakaya feel.

We had a party of 7 and everyone arrived separately because of work. After we've all arrived, no waiter checked up on us for a good 15-20 minutes. Eventually we had to flag her down ourselves to take our drink orders. It took way too long just for some tea and water so we gave up and left for something else. We aren't picky or anything.. just basic service was non existent. It wasn't even busy.. there were about four tables on a slow Thursday evening. Prices are a little ridiculous on sushi and sashimi sets and the yakitori selection is very limited. You're better off with the Izakayas in downtown or Nome in midtown.

The food is SO fresh and amazingly delicious. The sashimi felt like it melted in my mouth. None of th fish had any odour or were fishy. Prices vary from reasonable to pricy as they import some of their products from Japan's tsukiji markets (or so I'm told). Portions were fair. I am not giving a full 5 stars only because the service was kind of poor. They didn't seem too busy when I was there but I know they can get quite crowded. There didn't seem to be enough staff when I went and my table felt pretty ignored. Still would go back though and definitely recommend.
