The best schnitzel, and spaetzle anywhere! Home style, always fresh, huge portions. Not fancy, but spotless, friendly and just great food. We make this a must every time we come back to Toronto...one of the things we miss most. Full Eastern European menu...goulash, cabbage rolls, the works.

Greatest Hungarian food in Toronto. Extraordinary schnitzel. Very reasonable prices. I recommend this place highly. Excellent service too!!!

Omg I don't know if this is authentic Hungarian but it doesn't taste right. I tried Hungarian food somewhere else before and that was way much better. I tried Parisian chicken Schnitzel here, don't know why I chose Parisian style though, and that was, uh, I wouldn't try it again..

We like to order the wooden plate for four. It is a lot of food (schnitzel, sausages, pork chops, cabbage rolls, breaded mushrooms, roast potatoes, rice, cucumber salad) that is really enough for six. I rate the quality quite good and the price is very reasonable. Good hearty food.

Save your money (unless you like to gamble). I live nearby and kept giving it yet another chance, mostly disappointed. Sometimes the owner did it all: cooking, serving, bar, cash ~ sooo slow and sorry to say, even when I tried to portray 'understanding' of no other staff, were generally met with unfriendly demeanour. My friend ordered cabbage rolls with nicely cooked leaves in cold tomato sauce, but the meat filling was completely raw! It took a long time to get her back to our table to show her. My schnitzel was ultra thin with barely any meat inside the crusty overcooked thick breading, like it was deep-fried in old broken-down grease (ideally, it's pan-fried, never deep-fried). The spätzle dumplings were like hard balls of glue that may never have seen an egg. What an embarrassment! Of all the places to take my out-of-town visitors, I chose this winner.
