The staff here clearly lack the vital communication skills needed to work in fast food. Let me start with the positive: I have been coming here quite a while and in the past, the service and the food has always been good. The manager and past staff members have always been very nice. The decor is dated but that doesn’t really matter much. However, as the restaurant commences renovations it seems the older and well seasoned employees have been replaced by teenagers who don’t seem to know what they’re doing and lack communication skills. The restaurant is in decline with stale food being served, people messing up orders badly, and restaurant cleanliness suffering. Today, my grandparents felt like a burger so I brought them in hoping for a smooth experience. Immediately apparent, the girl at the cash has a bad attitude and bad communication skills. I made my order clearly and concisely to the point that even a 5 year old should not have any trouble. I repeated it twice. She punched the complete wrong information into the system, charging me the wrong amount, and sent me along. When my grandma was about to get a burger, the guy checked the receipt and said “That’s all”. He also seemed oblivious and was refusing to do anything. Eventually we were forced to call the manager and he was very helpful and rectified the situation but meanwhile our burgers had gotten cold - and they were also stale. This location has always been my most convenient and I really do like harvey’s but unfortunately I don’t think I will be returning.

An older plaza which incidentally has the exact same architecture as Van Horne Plaza. When I went, they were renovating 1/2 of the restaurant. I ordered a vegetarian burger with onions and lettuce, sprinkled with black pepper. Overall, the patty was cooked properly and the fries were nicely done.

For some reason Harvey's just feels healthier than every other burger chain. I can't complain about anything there, a quality franchise.

Great burgers and shakes. Don't like their fries. Restaurant was very messy and out of supplies (napkins). Subscribe to their emails for the occasional coupon. Free burger on your birthday.
