Ample seating for lunch on Saturday. Menu items are over priced. 2 soup noodle dishes were ordered. One thick and one thin. Both were too salty. The thin noodles tasted very starchy. The thick noodles had some that had red dye on them...so it seems quality control is lacking in this department. Both dishes had more noodle than substance to them.

If you love this place, it's gotta be for the old school, HK vibe - I feel like I stepped back into the 80s/70s when I'm here. The decor is outdated, but almost in a good way. They don't rip you off, cause they're not making you pay for the location. We purposely went here for the peking duck, cause we had a friend suggest this place to us. Unfortunately, they did not meet the bar for what we consider good. The portion size was reasonably generous, and it was done fairly well, including good, thin sheets to wrap with... but I think they're just a bit pricier, and the quality is just a smidge below what I'd compare it to. Want better - live further east, go along Sheppard just past Midland, to Peking Duck Kitchen. They are legit, I think maybe cheaper, also similar feel/vibe, but I argue the quality is better. I like this place, I just wouldn't go back because I think there are better. There was nothing off putting about them that warrants a harsher rating - so for me, a 3 means they meet the average of what I'd expect of your typical Chinese restaurant.

Went on a Sunday night and the service was slow and sloppy, and spilled a lot of our soup and sauce on the table. Food tasted alright, but on the standard of Chinese cooking it looked messy and bland. The only exception was the Peking duck, which looked and tasted great, but the shrimp chips that usually come with the dish were crushed into crumbs? Probably wouldn't come here again for the food, and definitely not for the outdated 90s decor.

My first time eating Peking duck. It was a nice experience eating different kind of Chinese food that I usually eat. My friends explained to me the ritual cutting the duck and how they do different dishes with the meal. All the food and service were correct. The only thing that I did not like were the desserts; I don't like sweets. One advice for the restaurant manager, please when you serve oranges, give good one because all the amazing previous food was less impressive because of the poor oranges you gave us.

This place is a family favorite for Peking Duck and other specialty Chinese fare. A bit of a hidden gem - literally - as it's located behind a tall wall and can't be easily seen from the street. Don't expect a grand atmosphere, the place is dated but the food is always reliably excellent.
