My order of mussels was fine, but my boyfriend ordered clams and was content until he found one closed clam near the end of his meal. He opened it only to find sediment, and was completely repulsed. My boyfriend notified one of the staff and the staff member apologized which was fine, as he wasn't the person preparing the food in the kitchen. My boyfriend also mentioned that closed clams shouldn't have been served in the first place, since closed clams may be indicative of its lack of freshness. Perhaps a quick check before releasing food from the kitchen would have prevented this.

Boy am I happy we randomly walked into this place! We ordered the Cajun shrimp fried rice and a bag of mussels and shrimp(which ended up being too much for us 2 so we took home leftovers, 1pound bag would have been enough). The food only took a few minutes to come out it was very quick. It's a lot of fun to get messy and eat with plastic gloves on. The food was very flavourfull and super delicious. Tons of garlic which we both love. Kudos to our server Marco! We loved you! Such a sweetheart. We will 10000% be back. Amazing experience

My family and I used to love this place when it first opened up. We really enjoyed the Captain's Boil seasoning. After a whole year, we recently went back for lunch and we were not pleased with a few things such as the increasing of prices, and how they decreased the amount of seasoning sauce in the food (they don't even give it on the side). I usually like the food here (maybe other locations are better?) .But my last visit to this place wasn't satisfying at all.

Yuck! Seafood served in plastic bags. By.the time it gets to your table it's steaming hot and overcooked.. Our bag of muscles arrived with the muscles out of the she'll and at the bottom of the bag. Shrimps, served whole in she'll (and in plastic bag) not cleaned. Wine by the bottle was on the menu but we were told they only had open bottles so we had to order by the glass which cost more than a bottle would have. No cutlery or plates are given just plastic bibs and gloves. Shells are discarded onto the table and left there until you leave. You leave smelling of fish and are sticky. Don't plan on a movie afterward cuz you'll want a shower. Overcooked and overpriced and kinda gross. So won't go back.

quite unique and interesting experience on eating with hands. the sauce was different from any other place. I'm not sure i like it or hate it. it was questionable about the amount of food. for 1 lb clam/mussel, the shell is also counted. i recommend shrimp. you have to order some add-on or side dishes. otherwise you just end up with nothing but seafood in a plastic bag.
