One of the best restaurant meals I've had in a long time. The food was original (but not too weird) and delicious, and the wine pairings were perfect. A lot of restaurants in Montreal are trying to be innovative with their food and often miss the mark, the result being a vapid and overpriced dining experience. It was refreshing to eat a meal that was creative, but also executed with professional rigor by chefs that get it!

Had a truly memorable experience here last night. From first to final bite, the dishes were interesting (particularly, in texture and provenance), thoughtfully executed, and gracefully prepared. Observing the chefs in the kitchen could be likened to watching a ballet performance.

One of my favorite restaurants in Montreal. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The tasting menus surprising, delicious and reasonably priced. The wine selection carefully chosen. The space in the basement of an old church is cozy and cool. Would recommend to a friend and besmirch to a foe.

A distinct experience. The dishes are perfectly balanced and elegantly executed. I recommend sitting at the counter to have a view on the action.

I put one star because I have to put at least one star. I went to this place because other people recommended strongly. However, I threw up everything after I had food in this place. I ate sturgeon for main dish (the other option was chicken). Smell of food was really strange. I am not sure it was because of the sauce or sturgeon, but it was kind of rancid smell. I'd never had sturgeon food before, so I thought this smell and taste is normal. After I came back to my home, I had stomachache and I vomited all I ate. Atmosphere and service were really nice, but I don't want to visit there again.
