Came here for the famous elk meat. The elk meat is very chewy and savory. The fries they made is very delicious! Get the thin fries if you can. Overall, i still recommend trying out their elk meat. It's hard to describe its taste. But the new experience is pretty worth it.

Comfy French Cuisine. With the wait. Good selection of local beers. Menu is very rustic but trendy. Good french service. Desserts were very rich and decadent. Well done. My first meal in Quebec City and it fantastic.

All around great restaurant! I've visited The Hobbit twice in a short period (breakfast and supper) and was so happy with all aspects of both visits. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the portions were perfectly sized, and the food was fantastic (Eggs Benedict Florentine, and Elk Flank Steak). Will have to find some time to visit again!!

Wow. Highly impressed with the service and quality of food. We had the grilled vegetables, which had a buffalo milk mozzarella and red pepper coulis. Fresh taste, high quality ingredients used. Has the right amount of sweet, tanginess and savory at the same time. We also had the buffalo cheek risotto and its was absolutely impressive. Explosion of flavor! You have to try it for yourself.

This place was amazing. It's fine dining but in a really fun environment. Really enjoyed all the serving staff -they were singing! I find sometimes when I go to a fancy restaurants that I feel out of place -I'm not a fancy person. This place had all the same attributes but at no point did I feel uncomfortable. Loved it.
