Ive been visiting this area pretty regularly for 3 years. I'm disappointed it took me that long to find this absolute gem of a restaurant. There is nothing bad to say about this place. The staff are personable and helpful. In my two visits so far: I've overheard 5 people who had bought a friend for the first time because they'd been coming for years and loved it. I met a woman who had been coming to the restaurant for 30 years and introduced me to the owner (who apparently works nearly every day and knows all of his regulars). Ive heard conversations between customers and wait staff that make it clear that they have gotten to know each other through their visits. I've seen hugs, I've heard concern and caring... I've witnessed community. No one seems to complain, everyone is happy to help, and everyone seems happy to be there - staff and guests both. The owner probably works a little too hard and seems to genuinely worry about each customer being happy, but he seems to thrive in it. Some research found the restaurant has won innumerable awards and positive write ups. Well deserved too. The menu is creative, the food is outstanding and the restaurant is charming. I encourage everyone to try it. You'll be hooked, just like I am.

I have been coming here since 1994 when my boss introduced me to their awesome egg breakfasts. Wonderful, professional service, home cooking with a gourmet flare. Fun menus with chicken wire inside. Great for adults and parties with 'few' small children. Perfect for business breakfast with large tables to get the whole team around. Every time I go, I see lots of business being conducted.

As much as I would love to rave about the food, the hospitality or anything else as many have done, alas I can not. My husband went in and put our name on the wait list, he was asked if patio seating became available before indoor if we would be ok with taking that. He said yes and they told us it was a 30 min wait. We stood outside, talking and then started noticing people who got there after us, being called to seat. We went back in, and were told there were 3 tables ahead of us. 8 tables and an hour wait later, my husband approached again, and that is when they told us they marked us for patio seating only. They said they would immediately seat us inside, and we declined. I will never come back, just do to the lack of organization on the front staff and the simple fact that no one ever once bothered to ask if we would like indoor even after seating people who came after us. Guess we will continue to enjoy our breakfasts elsewhere.

We were in town for a conference and decided to go here for breakfast. It was absolutely amazing. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. I must say, I was a little worries going in but was very pleased upon departure. Will definitely be on my list of places to eat if I'm ever in the area.

Family friendly local restaurant. Serves breakfast and lunch. You must try their bran muffins and take some to go! Limited handicapped parking. Bathrooms are handicapped accessible. The food is always top notch as is their service. Expect a wait during peak hours.
