Went to Windy City on Saturday. Worth the drive. The shaved ice was high quality and perfect for a hot day. Italian beef sandwich was well made with au jus and peppers. For a small shop, it has much to offer with tastes of Chicago and packaged treats too. I hear high end ice cream is on the horizon...can't wait.

A wonderful surprise! We're originally from Chicago so this review is probably biased a bit. They serve authentic Vienna all beef hot dogs, dressed in the classic Chicago way: mustard (no ketchup), neon green relish, chopped raw onions, sport peppers & don't forget the dash of celery salt. Mmmmm. Nice menu offerings. Choose those delish onion rings over the french fries. Friendly service. Like a "Taste of Chicago" here in the valley. Get their punch loyalty card too!

I bring my group of kids that do my program in here regularly but never again. A man that called himself the owner was EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful. The bathroom was locked and I asked for a child if a key was necessary. The owner muttered under his breath it was out of order, when I said I beg your pardon he become extremely rude and told me he was the owner and I could leave. Okay, the worst customer service experience possible, and from the owner himself, never again, just go to quiktrip around the corner, at least they’re professional

So the prices are what's worth the two star worthy. Now let's get into the food. The Chicago dog was a jumbo...first of all being from Chicago I can say that isn't the original way it's done. The hot dog I received didn't come with onions but I was starving so I dove in. Now the fries I can tell they were purely frozen ones..taste could tell...the nacho cheese was like a gas station kind..let's be honest it's price speaks for the food...a quickie for the price if your hungry and broke...
