Good food totally Italian . Cozy place, feels like your in Italy. Seervice is kinda slow, maybe because everything is home made. . It's quiet, cozy, dim lights, probably not to kid friendly.

Pay more attention to the bad reviews because that is exactly what you will get when you come here. There is nothing friendly, cozy, or authentic about this place. If you want authentic Italian food with great customer service, find another establishment. We had a party of 4 with reservations at 5pm. We arrived on time, seated and given menus. There were only five other tables being waited on. We sit and wait with no one acknowledging us. At 5:25pm our waitress (older lady appeared to be the owner/mom) finally arrived to take our drink order. Drinks arrive at 5:30pm. I explain to her due to our drinks taking 30 minutes to get we would like to order right away because we had another function to attend after dinner. My friend begins to ask our waitress menu questions. Our waitress appears hurried, distracted and uninterested in her questions. In fact, she was answering questions for two different tables seated around us, leaving us to wait on them, and yelling for waitstaff to attend to the other customers. We finally get her attention again and she says, "I don't know. Everything is the same. It is what you want." Our soup and salad arrive. The chicken noodle soup is completely bland and tasteless. The salad consisted of a few leaves on a plate with "shavings" of vegetables. We sit and wait and wait for our food. More people are coming in. People whom have come in after us have been given great, friendly service and have already gotten their food. At 6:10pm we have to flag our waitress over to our table. I ask her why we were given paper napkins and everyone else in the entire establishment was given burgundy cloth napkins. Than she says, "Oh are you guys ready to order?" I said, "Are you kidding me. You already took our order". Our entire table is looking at her in disbelief. She begins to argue with us and telling us she didn't take our order. Another party in our group again tells her she was the one that took our order, everyone else that came in and ordered after us had already been served and asked again where our food was. Our waitress (owner) begins to start arguing and another waitress shows up with our food. It is now 6:15pm. My friend's order contains the wrong style noodles and is not what she ordered off of the menu. My food was bland and tasteless. The few pieces of chicken we each had in our meals were rubbery. Our meals were tasteless. We sit and wait for our waitress to come ask us how everything is so we can tell her. It is now 6:35pm. No one has come to our table but every single table has been given friendly, fast service. I can tell you that is the first time in our lives we have ever felt discriminated against and could not understand why we were treated so poorly. We had to get up and walk to the register to get our bill. Our waitress walks up to us and asks if we "want to be seated". It is very clear now she never paid an ounce of attention to our table. I told her, "No, we already ate. We want the bill and I wanted my meal taken off." She looked at me and told me "No, it was too late". I told her that is because she never returned to our table ask how our meal was and I took two bites out of my food. She begins to raise her voice at us, get loud and tell us how those customers had reservations (As we did also) and how "This is a family atmosphere". I remain calm as she is yelling at us and than begins to walk around me yelling and pointing and shaking her finger at me. Now she has the attention of the entire restaurant (which was her goal). I ask her to lower her voice before I begin to raise mine higher than hers and ask her to stop pointing. She asks me "Why". I explain to her it isn't polite to point. She than states she is going to get Security. I told her to bring her Security out. She is now furious, goes into the back of the kitchen and is screaming back there and telling whomever "I was refusing to pay my bill" ( completely untruthful). She returns to the front without her "security" and removes my meal. Never again!!!

I loved it. Its a mom and pop restaurant and lots of selection with great food. I love how the family comes out and greets everyone and tells you their story and really makes it an experience. You get the feeling that they love food and love meeting people and it shows in the way they prepare their food and treat their customers. I wholeheartedly give a 5 star rating and recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique experience.
