Really good food, excellent service and large portions served in a timely manner. Oh my the pie is to die for! Better yet every Wednesday is free pie day you get a free slice with every entree. Friday is all you can eat fish fry and the fish is excellent. This is one of my favorite places to go and I'm a very picky person.

The server was very polite and eager to serve. However, the breakfast which was basic sausage and eggs with hash browns left much to desire. The hash browns were so we'll done consider them hard and crispy all of it. The handmade sausage patty was very skimpy in portion and also very well done. Not looking forward to revisit.

Service was good, however my Reuben sandwich was absolutely tasteless. My elderly mother likes to come to this location, however after this last visit we will not be back. It was the third time in a year this has happened. I was also shocked at the bill when it arrived. The cost is too high for the product received. After this visit we decided it would be our last.

My Mom has gone to this V.I. location for years. Now that she lives in a memory care home, she isn't able to go. Today, we took her there for lunch and were so fortunate to have Anthony as our server. I explained that she wanted a variety of items but asked if he could do childlike portions. He handled our situation perfectly!!! This restaurant is lucky to have such an attentive, caring individual as Anthony is. Would definitely look for his service area next time we go. Oh, the food was excellent as I remember it was as in the past.

Nice clean place to eat. Chicken fried steak with brown gravy was good. There is an early dinner menu that is price reduced between 3pm and 6pm. It comes with the main entree and one side (large list one the menu) and a piece of pie for under 10.00. The wait staff is friendly, attentive and efficient. We are snowbirders and if we return to Apache Junction, we will surely eat at the Village Inn
