The atmosphere is amazing. I love the decor and live music. The menu was diverse and prices were very reasonable, despite most of it being seafood I never see this cheap. The best part, it doesn't taste cheap. It was amazing. Every part was delicious. I come from the East coast and nothing has come close to the flavor level here. Highly recommend this place to anyone

The server was friendly and happy to explain the items on the menu, but she was kind of in the weeds. Things took a bit and I had to ask for my drink a second time, but it was fine because I could tell the server was busy. The catfish, hush puppies and sauces were very good, and would warrant future visits. The bread pudding was okay. However, I was given grief for using a Local Flavor deal. I used less than the $30 that I had access to and the server said I had to spend at least $50. This was not on the terms, so when they asked to take my phone to the manager, I asked that the phone stayed with me and the manager could come look at it. The manager eventually said I had to spend $30, which was better, but I'm not quite sure why that makes sense, right? I understand having to spend a certain dollar amount to be eligible to use a coupon, but this wasn't a coupon. This is essentially a voucher that I spent money on. Wouldn't they be happy that I spent less than they were obligated to give me? Well, I originally had a 35% tip on the pre-discounted balance on the table because they initially did not charge me for my soda... I told them to charge the soda to bump me over the $30. But in this process, a lot of time passed by, that tip shrank to 23%, and I will not be back again.

The Owners, Waiters/Waitresses, Bartenders, Host, And Performers All Must Really Love Their Job. Shucks, Wish I Could Reside Adjacent To This Cajun Powerhouse. Seriously, I know That You Are Home Sick, If Everyone In Louisiana Got2 Grub Down Like This Boiling Hot Spot; "We Would All Get Along." Go Challenge The Taste Buds And Renew Your Palates.

Love this place! There is no place in Phoenix/Tempe area that serves authentic Cajun food like Baby Kay's!! The gumbo is spicy without burning your tongue off. The potato salad has that NOLA tang to it. The catfish with crawfish sauce is my personal favorite. The pork chop is saucy perfection! The bread pudding is the best dessert ever!! The warm whiskey sauce is a fantastic addition to the dense, moist, raisin kissed pudding.

Our first time and what I loved was the seafood gumbo! Unlike other places it was chunk full of crab, shrimp, crawdad tails, rice and etc. So very good. Unfortunately they did not have Beignets which I love. I tried the crab Patty and it was okay but seemed to be more stuffing than crab. Also, their shrimp etoffee and dirty rice was good. I'd come here for more gumbo. Also, there was a man playing some blues and enjoyed.
