Placed my order at 5:27 PM and they said that it would be a 3 minute wait for their spicy chicken.. so when they finally brought out my order and the 2 orders in front of me who had waited even longer than the 24 minutes I waited, not only did I get to wait that entire time but the sauce packet they gave me has a nice slit over the top of it and is all over the bag box. I could of gone across the street to Texas road house and gotten food faster than this fast food establishment. What a joke. Last time I'll be going to this Popeyes Chicken location. Usually the food is just dry and kind of gross but today was a new special kind of insult.

Food was ok. The 3 piece meal is very skimpy serving a wing, leg and thigh. Completely out of sweet and unsweetened tea by the beverage counter. After having to ask for it behind the counter you would think that would alert them to make more but they didn’t even think about it. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because it put some food in our stomach when we were hungry. It amazes me that people like this (fast food employees that obviously do just enough to get by) think they should get $15 an hour.

The food is typically good though at times you get a miss on the chicken (mostly breading, a little tough). The location is new and feels very clean and nice. Have had issues here with items missing or being wrong on occasion too. Staff is usually friendly and helpful. Hit or miss at this location.

Very disappointed! I bought a special Surf and Turf, which was the spicy "butterfly" shrimp and chicken strips. I visited about 3pm. Food service was quick, but the meal was cold. Shrimp was okay, but not "butterfly", just regular fried shrimp. The chicken strips were chewy and dry. The seasoned fries probably would have been better if they weren't cold. The biscuit was the best looking piece of food in the box and I don't even like biscuits. This is the 2nd time and 2nd Popeye's location that I have tried, since they came to the East Valley, and I am NOT impressed. I doubt that I will eat at a Popeye's again. Prices seem affordable, but food quality is poor to below average. I REALLY tried to find something about this meal that was good, but it just wasn't there. :(

Shrimp and biscuit were great. Coleslaw ok. Buffalo sauce was strange. Very clean, with friendly, courteous service.
