First, I love Chipotle. Have loved it since my first bite in SD 2002ish. So I think I'm pretty familiar with their standard of fresh, healthy, yummy food. With that said, this Happy Valley location has had its challenges including closing the restaurant mid afternoon. 🤐 It's undergoing new management and I have to say, I'm happy with the progress. The staff changes were necessary to bring the Chipotle back to the standard we know, love and expect. The new manager is very focused on the customer experience and ensuring the best quality food available for our bowls, burritos and salads. It's not perfect yet, but it well on its way!

vernight. Only one person running the entire line looking around for her fellow workers you could hear socializing in the back. The entire back area was disguising. Served extremely low portions (to get out of extra work?). Despite all this I still went through with my order. I got a veggie bowl which includes free guac. Employee that came last second to ring me up charged me for the guac, after confronting him about the mistake he said "Oh dang I forgot, (shrug) sorry, I can give you a free drink" Rice was so hard had to throw bowl out upon first bites. Strictly posting this in hopes of management seeing.

Since the beginning, I saw that the food did not look similar to other Chipotles I have visited in the past. While ordering, I had to ask to not be served the old queso( looked chunky and dry) for my chips. Once sitting down, the chips I ordered were stale. My burrito was good, but not that full flavor I usually get. Another note is that the table where I sat was a mess(kind of ashamed of whoever ate there before because people should clean up after themselves). There were napkins, guac, chips and sauce all over. I do not blame the employees, their job is to serve our food( they had a line out the door). Could explain the rush in the food to keep up with demand, but why serve food that isn't living up to the standards and quality Chipotle highly speaks of. Sad part is, none of the other reviews seem to get any attention from a site manager or any other management. Until things begin to get addressed, I have vowed to not eat at Chipotle anymore until there is some acknowledgement that there will be improvements.

Anybody else feel like Chipotles everywhere need more seating? Its not terrible, but kind of annoying.

Just got a salad bowl with barbocoa, took a few bites and literally ran to the bathroom and vomited. The meat was cold and tasted like it was a week old. I threw the rest of the bowl in the trash. Disappointed since I paid a pretty penny for the meal. Service was good though. I don't know what happened to their food? It used to be great! Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this location!
