Wonderful casual upscale restaurant in Scottsdale. Visited with 3 others. The restaurant is mid priced and they specialize in excellent tavern and comfort food. You need to try the prime rib as well as the top sirloin steak. The most expensive item is about $34. There is a nice sized bar that is clearly separated from the main dining areas so you can hardly hear any noise from there. They serve a very succulent smoked salmon and catfish as well as burgers and Reuben sandwiches. The ambience is comfy. Only issue is that some of the tables inside are a little too close together. However, our server was very professional and quick. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. When we visited, the soup of the day was chili and it was hot and tasty. The Charleston puts even Outback and Longhorn steak houses to shame. There is a small outdoor eating area. Parking is sufficient. I recommend reserving through Open Table. When we visited, the restaurant was nearly full. I will definitely come back when I visit Arizona again

Have been here several times. The food is excellent. Portions are generous, perhaps too generous. Service was excellent, very friendly and helpful. Great thanks to our waitress, you can substitute one side dish for another. We got bread pudding for dessert - it was very good, but even split four ways, it was a lot.

I frequent the Scottsdale location about 4x a year for the last several years. Always a delicious meal with very good service. Never had a bad meal. Have had the filet, salmon, pork chop and chicken, all delicious, every time. The ribs are fantastic. VERY ATTENTIVE TO FOOD ALLERGIES.

Enjoyed the relaxed, upscale environment within this restaurant. Staff is super friendly and helpful with suggestions. The croissants are incredibly fresh with the perfect flavor. From drinks to appetizers to main course the food is incredible.

I always enjoy Charleston’s. There are many memories from OKC I carry with me to this restaurant. The portions are large and the food is good. The star of the outing this visit wasn’t the food as much as our server, Dee. She was outstanding. Great personality, thoughtful in anticipating needs, and kind to notice the small needs that customers have. She and the hostess had smiles that the rest of the staff could’ve used this Sunday. Sometimes it’s hard for servers to get enthusiastic about waiting on church folk, we are notoriously demanding and not very good tippers. I hope Dee was as impressed with us as we were with her. Thanks Dee and keep the smiles and service coming.
