We were in Phoenix for 5 days and we drove here 3/5 days for breakfast..that's how good it was!! The crepes were to die for, the potato cakes were awesome, and the bacon/gravy biscuit (don't remember the name) was so good! My dad got the omelette that had crab meat (pictured below) and he raved about it.The mimosas were great too! I wish we had one close to home! I would definitely visit again! We had the same server, Tara, all 3 times and she was so friendly!

Stopped in here on a Saturday afternoon on a whim and was a little underwhelmed. Coffee- standard mediocre diner coffee. Poor quality beans brewed too strong using unfiltered water. Bitter, burnt tasting and not all that appetizing Food- I got the biscuits and gravy breakfast with ham. The eggs were cooked to perfect over easy, no snotty whites, and no congealed yolks, was actually really impressed with how well they did them. Unfortunately, everything else on the plate seemed like it had been sitting and waiting to be reheated and served. The biscuit was dense and the bottom half was tough and dry, the gravy was runny and slightly separated, seemed like they had almost been thinning it with something to make a batch last longer, very little flavor, even in the many chunks of sausage throughout the gravy. The hash browns were crunchy, like they had been sitting in the corner of the griddle for way longer than needed, and the ham was middle of the road at best, a little dry, a little tough, and had a bit of that “hot dog/mixed meat” taste. Service- I want to state upfront that MOST of the employees I saw were polite, smiling, and extremely friendly. The server I had- not so much. She was curt and short with her words, practically slammed my dishes down onto the table, barely waited for any response to her questions of how I was doing before just continuing to walk on by, and not even the faintest glimmer of a smile. She had a general attitude like I was an interruption into her busy schedule and she could not wait to be rid of me. I would understand that a little bit if I had walked in 10 minutes to close, but these guys close at 2:30 and I came in around 1:00. I am clear this woman is not necessarily representative of the whole restaurant, but there’s no excuse for rudeness when you work in the service industry. Overall, I might be willing to give this place another try at some point, but I’ve got great options that are much closer to me that I’d rather go to instead.

The food was fantastic!!! I would have put 3 stars, but our food was delicious. However, the water and coffee was nothing to be desired. The coffee tasted burnt and unnecessarily strong. Not like dark roast strong because I don't mind dark roast. But this was like they put too many grounds in the coffee maker strong. The water tasted like it was completely unfiltered. Also the other stuff were great, but I don't know if my waitress was having a bad day or just genuinely didn't want to have anything to do with me and my boys. She was huffy and only came to check on us 3 times during the whole time we were there. For a nice little place like this I just hope it was a once in a lifetime situation. And if I'm out that way again I would check it out again.

Our first visit was disappointing. Our food was served cold and the service was poor. I hope you have better luck.
